If you don't see your county listed, call us; we're always expanding.
Is My Home Cares licensed in Maryland?
Yes. My Home Cares is a licensed Maryland Residential Service Agency (RSA), regulated by the Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ), under license RSA-01229 | HCSA-00845. Our caregivers are screened, trained, and background-checked.
What home care services do you offer?
We offer skilled nursing, personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility), companion care, respite care for family caregivers, homemaking, and meal planning and preparation, all tailored to your loved one's needs.
How much does home care cost, and how can it be paid for?
Cost depends on the level of care and hours needed. Care can be paid for through private pay, long-term care insurance, and Maryland Medicaid home- and community-based waiver programs. We're happy to walk you through your options during a free consultation.
How quickly can care begin?
In many cases we can begin care within a few days of your consultation. After a quick assessment of your loved one's needs, we build a personalized care plan and match a caregiver who's the right fit.
Are your caregivers screened and certified?
Yes. Our caregivers undergo criminal background checks and are trained to Maryland RSA standards. Many hold CNA, GNA, or CMT certifications, and our skilled nursing is provided by licensed RNs and LPNs.
Do you offer 24/7 or live-in care?
Yes. We offer flexible scheduling, from a few hours a week to full-time, overnight, and 24/7 or live-in care, depending on what your loved one needs.
