Hourly Rates
What you pay depends on the level of care
Every care plan is built around one person, so the right caregiver for your family may not be the most clinical one. These are starting hourly rates. Your exact rate is confirmed in writing after a free in-home assessment.
Aide / Companion
$27.50per hour
Company, supervision, and a hand with everyday life at home.
- Companionship and conversation
- Help around the house and with errands
- Reminders and safety supervision
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
$35 to $40per hour
Hands-on help with personal care, for anyone who needs support with daily routines.
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Vital sign monitoring
Certified Medication Technician (CMT)
$45 to $50per hour
Everything a CNA provides, plus trained oversight of medications.
- Medication administration and reminders
- Monitoring for side effects
- Basic health and safety checks
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
$55 to $65per hour
Clinical care at home for wounds, injections, and changing conditions.
- Wound care and dressing changes
- Medication administration and injections
- Monitoring the person's condition
Registered Nurse (RN)
$80 to $90per hour
The highest level of clinical oversight, including full assessment and care planning.

The Details
How private pay works
No surprises, no hidden fees. Here is everything else you should know before you decide.
10 hours a week minimum
Care is scheduled in a minimum of 10 hours per week, at every caregiver level.
A deposit to begin
We collect a deposit equal to about 20 hours of care before service starts. The amount depends on the caregiver level, and it is negotiable.
Simple monthly billing
Invoicing is handled through QuickBooks, so your statements are clear and easy to keep for your records.
Ways to save
Reduced rates when you combine multiple services, and 5 to 10 percent off pre-paid monthly plans or schedules of 20 or more hours a week.
If you need care urgently and we staff it on short notice, that time is billed at a premium rate. We will always tell you before it applies.
Paying for Care
Private pay is not the only option

Private pay
You pay us directly. There is no eligibility screening and no waiting list, so care can begin soon after your assessment. Rates are on this page.
Long-term care insurance
Many policies cover in-home care. We can provide the documentation your insurer asks for, and our care team will walk you through what your policy needs.
Maryland Medicaid waivers
We work with Maryland home and community based waiver programs, including Community First Choice and the Community Options Waiver, for families who qualify.
